About Me:
My wife, Ellen and our two daughters, Chelsea and Heather, and
Chelsea's husband Joe, all live in Phoenix, Arizona.
We have two dogs, Elsa and Nicholas. Chelsea and Joe also have
two dogs, Hurley and Dozer.
Chelsea and I are big Buffalo Bills fans - Heather and I cheer for the
Phoenix Suns - and we are all still waiting for a championship. Maybe
someday.
I've been a broadcast news producer and writer since 1978,
specializing in military affairs, politics, and feature news. My proudest
accomplishments include a national RTNDA Edward R. Murrow award for
best newscast, producing a five-part series on the 50th anniversary of the
attack on Pear Harbor, and coverage of NASA's return to space with the
launch of Space Shuttle Discovery in 2005.
I've also had the honor to cover several national political conventions,
and produced newscast segments on the 1991 Persian Gulf War, as well
as Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. I owe my
thanks to many contacts and friends I have in both the armed forces and
political communities across the country.
